Clairlea's Folk Dance Team

On May 4th, 2010, Clairlea's Folk Dance team participated in the annual Jamboree festival at the Scarborough Civic Centre. This fun occasion celebrates Folk Dance within the TDSB. This year, 50 students took part in Jamboree. They had been practicing hard since November, meeting every Thursday in our gym to get prepared for this exciting event. Our students did an outstanding job representing Clairlea alongside many other schools. Great work students, you all proved to be true Clairlea All-Stars! Thanks to all staff, parents, and volunteers for your valued support. A very special mention and thanks go to Beverley Way, our parent volunteer extraordinaire, who generously donated t-shirts for us to wear during out performance. Many thanks Beverley, our kids looked great!
