A Fantastic Track & Field Meet

Yesterday was obviously the South Conference Championships and Clairlea students did us proud. 32 students in total competed with many coming home with medals and ribbons. A few group efforts deserve recognition, namely both the grade 8 boys and girls relay teams who both placed 1st, and the grade 7 boys relay team which placed 2nd. The City Championships are next Wed. (once again at Varsity stadium) and several students placed well enough to compete. Unfortunately many of those students are in grade 8 and will be in Quebec on thier graduation trip. Still we will have a small group of students competeing, and to them good luck and everyone else...congratulations. Pictures to follow.
